Some trends come and go with the seasons, while others transition seamlessly. Embroidery is the latter. Although it’s easy to assume that floral embroidery is specific to spring and summer, on the right pieces it fits into fall and even winter beautifully. Take for instance this long sleeve embroidered dress. This dress is the perfect way to wear the trend for fall.
Of course the long sleeves are a dead giveaway that this dress would be great for fall. They are obviously made of a mesh material so they won’t be the warmest, however if it really gets cool out, the thin material will easily slip into the arms of a jacket. Plus how pretty is the mesh? I love it because it shows a little bit of skin without being risqué.
The color pallet is another hint that this dress is fall friendly. Instead of super light or bright colors, it’s a muted kind of mint with neutral florals. This color pallet goes great with all of my fall booties including these suede pointed toe cuties. I would totally add a leather jacket to this look to add a little bit of edge.
Embroidery is a fun way to amp up your fall wardrobe from a lot of dark and drab pieces (hey we are all guilty of it….and there is nothing wrong with it!) It’s pieces like this long sleeve embroidered dress that continue the femininity that you wear in spring and summer through the colder months.
