This year I have found myself drawn to certain colors for spring and summer, and this ice blue lace skirt from Tanapama is one of the colors I am just in love with. I love that it it is feminine, soft, and adds a bit of fresh air to my wardrobe.
The color is only one aspect that I love about this skirt. My absolute favorite feature is all of the lace and embroidery detail that move about the garment. I have never seen a skirt with such intricate detail. Considering the color, shape, details, and materials of this skirt, this skirt is definitely more formal. However, being true to my style, I decided to pair it with more casual and edgy pieces. I just love mixing leather and lace, so I knew I had to wear this lace skirt with my favorite leather jacket (which is on sale BTW!)
Also since the lace skirt is so detailed, I thought I would keep the top simple and wear a plain white T-Shirt. Sometimes wearing something super basic with something very intricately detailed is the best option. I mean, the lace skirt is really the start in this outfit, right? If you love this skirt as much as I do, keep in mind there is a matching top (Click here) .
I also have been looking around for a good pair of casual black sandals for the summer and I found them! These studded block heeled sandals are by Franco Sarto and I found them at Marshalls for less than $25! I have really been having some luck there lately!
