OOTD // Camel Jacket, Floral Peplum, Perforated Mules

A lot of the time, when I think about spring fashion, I think of all the pretty dresses and skirts. And as fun as those items are, how realistic is it to wear those items all season long? I mean, I wish I could, but as a mom to a 1-year-old who works from home, I’m lucky if I have the time to put on a full face of makeup.

That’s why this outfit is one of my new favorites. It’s something I can wear every day (well not EVERY day because that would be weird) and it really takes little to no effort to put together. The key pieces in the look consist of jeans, a camel leather jacket, a feminine tank, and some mule booties. It’s comfortable, practical, yet looks like a million bucks.

The booties are easy to get on since they are mules and are comfortable to walk in due to the block heel. Plus the subtle details in this look have me falling in love. The slight floral print on the peplum of this tank in contrast to the edginess of the cut of this leather jacket is a contrast that just really works (you know how I love to mix masculine and feminine!) Plus if you don’t have a pair of spring shoes that have perforated leather I highly suggest you do! Check out this easy to wear spring look.
