It’s about to feel real wintery in Connecticut. Like below zero weather! Yikes! It’s time to make sure you have warm and cozy sweaters, coats, and layers for sure!
I have been super sweater crazy this year which isn’t typical for me since I feel like they can be a bit bulky on my petite stature. However the comfort and convenience (convenience is key for me since I became a mom!) made me be a little bit more adventurous. I kept seeing theses sweaters on bloggers and in ads that had this amazing fringe detail with the yarn on the front and I have been searching for one all season that wasn’t ridiculously expensive.
I literally just found this winter white sweater this weekend and I seriously could not grab it off the rack fast enough. I mean it was the perfect color, shape, size and price (on sale for under $20!!!!) But I was concerned as to how I was going to wear it…again, was it going to be too bulky on me? After a little deliberation I thought, sometimes you have to embrace the shape of these sweaters and just make sure you balance its volume with a skinny jean or legging. That way no one can really mistaken its shape as your own. I chose booties for this look because the sweater is a bit longer on me (hello…5 feet here!) so I was afraid tall boots would cut me off.
Seriously though I am super obsessed with this sweater and you should get one too while they are still available because they are under $15!!! (If not for you, then as a gift!)
