I know, I know…it’s not even Thanksgiving yet. But those of you who know me know that I live for Christmas, so planning on how I am going to decorate my home starting Friday (or maybe Thursday night if I’m being honest…) isn’t unusual. Trust me, if my husband didn’t protest so much, my house would be fully decorated by now!
Each year I try to figure out how I am going to amp up the decorations and make sure they look equally stylish and sophisticated but still with that traditional Christmas charm. I see a lot of fashion/home decor bloggers who usually adorn their homes in whites and neutrals for the holidays and I must say it always looks gorgeous. However, I need there to be reds in green within my decor, if only for at least one room. This year, I am focusing on a lot of mixtures of red, white, and gold because I think it is the perfect balance of fun Christmas tradition and elegance. I also love the mixture of green with red and gold, but for the sake of this post I figured I would stick to one color story…for now!
