OOTD // Army Vest and Bordeaux Bag

Although it’s officially November, we are experiencing some warmer weather here in New England. I’m not going to fuss about it because I know the temperatures will be frigid in a month or so. Regardless of this mini heatwave, I am living out fall to the fullest with this army vest.

This vest is the best layering piece. It’s light weight enough for days like today but in a month or two I can layer it over a sweater. The color is perfect because army green goes with everything but is a breath of fresh air from a lot of the black I tend to wear. (Who isn’t guilty of that this time of year, right?)

I added a pop of color with my newest handbag that I got from the Rebecca Minkoff sample sale and I’m literally in love. I mean I am having serious loving feelings towards this bag. #sorrynotsorry. Bordeaux is my favorite color for fall and winter because it has an element of luxury and richness. Plus the texture is divine.

I am soaking in this warm weather because it is probably one of the last warm days we will have this year. (Unless we have a Christmas that is 70 degrees like last year….which I hope we don’t!!) Regardless of the temp, the fall leaves are still gorgeous and with the warm weather, they will also be a distant memory in a few weeks.
