OOTD // Baby, It’s Cold Outside

Temperatures have officially dropped (boo) and everyone is bundling up. Sometimes it’s easy to feel like with all of your layers of sweaters, coats, hats, gloves, and scarves that you can look more like a pile of laundry rather than a woman heading to work or wherever. But if you buy some great neutral winter accessories, you can look more put together and less of a disheveled individual who is just trying to survive.

A great winter coat is key. If you are a stickler for using just one coat all winter long I understand (they can be pretty expensive) so I would suggest you pick a neutral coat that is functional and fashionable. However if you are like me, over the years I have collected numerous coats in many colors and silhouettes. This makes it super curtail for you to buy scarves, hats, and gloves that will go with the majority of your coats so you don’t end up wondering “what the heck am I going to wear with this?”

This pink coat is a fun piece, however I can’t close it due to my baby bump so I made sure to layer as much as I could (and I probably won’t get much more use out of it this winter.) I love winter accessories with fur accents like both my hat and gloves have (and they are both from Target!) And when it comes to winter boots, truly nothing beats Hunter boots. You can wear them all year long with the rain and then when it’s cold you can just add a pair of the welly socks to keep your feet warm.
