This past Saturday, I did something I had always wanted to do but was always afraid to try…yoga! I know a lot of people who love it so I was always curious but never new when to try it. When I was invited to do yoga on the beach with a bunch of Connecticut blogger friends, I jumped at the opportunity. And when I learned that we would be sampling the new Ocean Spray Mocktails, I was definitely intrigued.
I met up with the girls and before we got down to fitness, we treated ourselves to a little sampling of the beverages. There are three different flavors: Cranberry Peach Bellini, Cranberry Sangria, and Tropical Citrus Paridise. Each flavor was so delicious, you wouldn’t even miss the alcohol. Now when I normally think of juices, I think of lots of sugars and calories. I honestly try to avoid them as much as I can and I definitely would not drink them before working out because why would I want to consume something that isn’t good for me when I am clearly trying to be healthy? However, I didn’t have the same concerns with these Mocktails because they are made with real fruit juice and have only 90 calories per serving! I sipped these Mocktails with no worry.Now I wish I could say thatyoga was equally as enjoyable as the tasting, and don’t get me wrong I had a lot of fun. I just realized how uncoordinated and out of shape I am! However, I know you need to do to it for a little while and you get better at it as you go. But boy was I sweating! (I guess that’s the idea right?)
