OOTD // 4th of July Looks with Old Navy

Happy 4th of July everyone! It is the pinnacle of summer celebration with friends and family. I had to celebrate early with my daughter because my husband and I are leaving for a vacation to Mexico today and unfortunately Scarlett isn’t coming. That’s why we both have these adorable 4th of July outfits primarily made up of pieces from¬†Old Navy.

Scarlett’s patriotic look is too adorable for me to handle. I love how the top is blue with stars and her cute little bum is the red stripes. Why is it so cute for babies to have cute things on their butts?! Ha! Plus her little gold Toms¬†make it easy for her to run around. (And they are sparkly and fun!) We had a great time playing near the fountain in the center of our town. She loves water! While we are away she will be celebrating the actual holiday with my in-laws, so I definitely packed this little look for her on the 4th!

My top is also from Old Navy and I am in love with how simple it is. The tassel hem detail is all the flair it needs. And although it isn’t a true “red” (the color is called hot tamale) it’s like an orange-red which is close enough for me. I don’t have a lot of red and felt like this color was vibrant and fun and still gave a patriotic vibe.

The best thing about this holiday definitely is being able to celebrate with friends and family. Although I won’t be with Scarlett for the next week, she will still be with family and so will Dave and I. So whatever you are doing this 4th of July, I hope you have a blast and stay safe! Happy 4th of July!
