Style Collective Podcast Launch Party at Bartaco

This past weekend I got together with a few of my fellow CT fashion and lifestyle bloggers to celebrate the new Style Collective podcast launch.

For those of you who don’t know,  Style Collective is platform for female influencers to connect, grow, and learn how to be successful bloggers and entrepreneurs. The mission of Style Collective is for women to empower one another while creating their own success. Being a part of this community means having support, resources, and connections in order to help try to grow our blogs.

Style Collective founder, Annie Spano launched a podcast to help continue to inspire me and my fellow SC Sisters and help us “Become Fearless.” So to celebrate this, we had a little get together organized by fellow CT fashion blogger, Diane Taha from Style Context at a local hot spot, Bartaco.  We also got to sample some amazing skincare products from RL Apothecary. Check out the delicious food and fun time we had. If you wish to join Style Collective click here.

You can’t eat Mexican food without starting off with chips and salsa!

Almost as important as the food is the food is the cocktails you server with them! We tried the smoky oaxaca spritz and the super refreshing spring caipirinha.

You can have your tacos on a classic tortilla shell or in a bib of lettuce. We sampled the delicious cauliflower with romesco sauce, fried oyster, and ahi tuna with asian slaw wraps.

Served with the amazing tacos was a light and refreshing gazpacho – chilled tomato based soup w/ onions, poblano peppers, red bell peppers, cucumbers, garnished with croutons and olive oil

If you are like me you want to go someplace that is kid friendly and Bartaco is just that. They have a wide variety of kid friendly foods including chicken w/ cheese, sesame beef w/ cheese, and crispy fish tacos, cheese quesadillas, fruit, corn, and cucumbers.

Shhh it’s a secret! I highly suggest you order Bartaco’s secret taco! I won’t tell you what’s in it but I will tell you it’s sooooo good!

We finished our amazing meal with a traditional Mexican dessert. Friend churros and chocolate sauce! It was the perfect ending to an amazing meal
