OOTD // Gym Ready Athleisure

I did a post about my glammed up version of athleisure a few weeks ago, but thought I would try my shot at an actual athleisure look. I mean, it literally is what I would realistically wear to the gym, minus the sunglasses and leather cap. So I thought, why not?

I didn’t think I would feel comfortable wearing leggings as pants outside of the gym, but when you find the right pair that is thick enough and helps to keep everything firm (plus have super cute mesh paneling on the side!) you don’t feel so insecure.

When I shared these sneakers on Instagram a few days ago, I have been dying to wear them. In some of these photos they don’t look so bright, but I assure you they are a bright neon coral. (I swear they are so bright that the light was reflecting off of them!) And talk about comfortable! I felt like I was walking on a cloud and had tons of support which is key for your actual workout routine.

I have been going to the gym 3-4 days a week since Christmas. With this activity partnered with Weight Watchers I have lost over 13 lbs, and am only 7 lbs away until I hit my goal weight (a weight I haven’t been since well before I had the baby!) I am not one of those people who enjoys working out, however I feel better once I do. But in order to reach my goal I have to push myself, and although it’s not an overnight transformation I am happy with the results so far! And trust me, cute workout wear helps motivate you to get moving!
