Spring Trend du Jour // The New Button Downs

I don’t care that there is roughly 18 inches of snow on the ground. I have a one track mind about spring and Mother Nature can get on board or not.

One of the trends that is really big this year for spring is a new take on something that I was never really a fan of: button downs. I always felt as though they looked great on everyone else except me due to my large bust. There is always that one button that pulls too much or just refuses to stay closed!

Luckily, there are many different takes on the classic button down top that I think I can actually try. Whether there is added feminine details with ruffles or a little extra skin with cold-shoulders or even frocks that are fashioned as shirt dresses, the options are endless and I can’t wait to try them out. What about you? Are you down with this trend for spring?
