January in Connecticut means snow, snow, snow. Of course, I only want it for Christmas and that rarely ever happens. Luckily this year we had a little. But snow will likely be in our forecast until April.
Scarlett has been out in the snow only minimally. I don’t like keeping her out in the cold too long. The other day before her doctor’s appointment (9 month check up!) I bundled her up and we stood outside and watched the snow fall. However, that only last for about 5 minutes.
This weekend we got around a half a foot of snow so I thought it would be a good opportunity for her to explore a little more. I put her in her pink snow suit that just had me cracking up because I thought she looked like a pink marshmallow! So in order to coordinate, I put on my pink coat (it’s an older style but I linked a similar version below!) and added a few grey and black winter accessories. There’s just something about the softness of the light pink and grey combo that I love!
Scarlett had such a fun time in the snow! (and so did our dog, Raleigh) I can’t wait for her to be able to really enjoy it once she can move around on her own. I hope you all had a great weekend!
