OOTD // Geometric Maxi Dress

Even with my petite frame, I love maxi dresses. Usually, they are super long on me and I have to wear heels with them (which I would do anyway) but this geometric printed dress fits perfectly. I can wear it with flat metallic sandals or a great pair of lace up heels. Plus, the material feels like a t-shirt so you are super comfy even in this sweltering heat!

Now let’s talk about the print. Again, it’s perfection. The two vertical lines that run down the center of the dress gives the illusion of being long and lean, and the size variation of the lines help camouflage any problem areas. Besides, who doesn’t love a black and white graphic? I know I do!

The pops of pink stand out nicely against the contrasting print (I’m not sure what’s been up with me lately…but I have been wearing a lot of pink!) I like to wear a vest with my maxi dresses because I always like to have an extra layer. Plus the denim vest makes this dress a bit more casual (although you can really dress this maxi up…I wore it to my husband’s high school reunion recently.) Finally, I chose to wear it with my white crossbody saddle bag to add a little edge and ease.

Until next time, xoxo.
